Ubisoft has pledged to continue "improving the optimisation" of future PC titles and focus on releasing them alongside the console versions simultaneously.
Speaking to MCV about the strides the publisher is taking to improve its PC line-up, EMEA executive director Alain Corre said that Ubisoft will continue to listen to feedback from players and "adapt accordingly".
"For instance, we switched to a simple, one-time activation for our PC games – a standard practice in the industry. We're also doing our best to bring our games to PC at the same time as the console versions. Assassin's Creed Unity and Far Cry 4, for example, will be released simultaneously on console and PC, and this will continue to be the goal for all our major titles."
"Finally, we are committed to improving the optimisation of our games for each platform on which they're released," he said, "including PC."
Look out for Far Cry 4 and Assassin's Creed: Unity later this year.
