While the news media continue their negative stories about Clinton, and the Sanders supporters want only to talk about Iowa and New Hampshire, Hillary Clinton continues to hold a large lead nationwide among Democrats.
The Morning Consult Poll was done between September 11th and 13th of a random national sample of 955 Democrats (and leaners), with a margin of error of 3.17 points. This poll showed Hillary Clinton with a 30 point lead over Bernie Sanders (54% to 24%).
The YouGov Poll was done between September 11th and 15th of a random national sample of 651 Democrats. They did not give a margin of error for only Democrats. This poll showed Clinton leading Sanders by 19 points (45% to 26%). But this poll included Joe Biden (who is not a candidate) -- and 60% of Biden supporters say Clinton is their second choice, while only 23% say Sanders is their second choice. Take Biden out of the mix, and Clinton is back over 50%.
Republicans, the media, and even some Sanders supporters, have done their best to bash and smear Hillary Clinton -- but most Democrats aren't buying it, and she remains the clear favorite in the Democratic race for the presidential nomination.
