Yes, two huge names from human history who could no way possibly be invited into or included in and belong to the Republican Party and for obvious reasons. First up, Abraham Lincoln. Two Historical People Who Could No Way Belong to Today's Republican Party IIIIII I mean really. Let's face it. He actually worked to free African-Americans. That does it right there. More, however, his own quotes disqualify him from this political party today: "Labor is prior to, and independent of, capital. Capital is only the fruit of labor, and could never have existed if labor had not first existed. Labor is the superior of capital, and deserves much the higher consideration." Next up, the big man. None other than Jesu Christi. Two Historical People Who Could No Way Belong to Today's Republican Party IIIIII I mean, come on. The guy who said rich people can't and won't get to heaven? Really? Republicans WORSHIP wealth and actively search it out. It's why they got into office, at least it is for the ones who get in Congress. More quotes attributed to Jesus no Republican today would repeat or even think: Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.” With the defense spending they want?? And then th: “For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me. Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.”
