Twitter Refreshes User Interface On the Web, And I Love It

Twitter has started rolling out a refreshed design for its desktop website that mimic the design on its iOS and Android applications. The new design has beautiful, simple, metro-style buttons to create tweets, messages and tabs. Also, with this new design your profile and header image will get smaller and will be displayed on the upper left side along with “who to follow” and trending topics, saving more space for tweets.

Twitter officially announced the new update via a Tweet.

Just as always, Tweeps are going berserk over this new design. It’s natural for people to hate new things. Like it or not, Twitter desktop users will have to get used to this new design eventually as it’s being rolled out to everyone on the micro-blogging platform.

I actually love the new design. It looks and feel very smooth and I couldn’t be more happier to finally have the opportunity to use the website on both the mobile and the web as the same way. There no major redesigns here but it brings that great, fresh new feeling to the web app. The design actually fits in nicely with Windows 8. Once you get used to it, you will love it.
