Twas’ the Night Before Christmas

d97e35a2155aa82f11000b712cb4f5a7-1‘Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house,
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;
The stockings were hung by the chimney with care,
In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there…

As my family gathers, getting ready for our traditional baked bacalhau {cod fish} and for old Saint Nick to arrive on midnight, I anticipate reading my favorite holiday story, Twas’ the Night Before Christmas by Major Henry Livingston Jr, which I’ve even displayed my limited edition book. And in the words of Santa himself…

Happy Christmas to all and to all a goodnight!
