Tumbbad, directed by debutant Rahi Anil Barve and Adesh Prasad is a Hindi language horror film.
The film is an amalgamation of mythology and horror. Ages ago a goddess gave birth to Hastar who was engulfed in greed. For this, the gods cursed him that he was to be never worshiped. But someone built him a shrine and the story continues about the consequences of it.
The visual effects is very realistic, created by Sean Wheelan and Filmgate Films in Sweden
Produced by Sohum Shah, Aanand L. Rai, Mukesh Shah and Amita Shah, the film stars Sohum Shah, Ronjini Chakraborty, Deepak Damle, Anita Date in the lead. The film is scheduled to release on 12 October 2018.
