I'm in the process of watching The American President and realized I didn't post "yet" today. Well, here I am! I must say that nothing interesting was on television tonight so, I decided this evening was a live-streaming Netflix evening. I still have about 20 minutes to go. Let's get to it the ...tidbits... for today.
I've been ramping up for the Christmas boutique that I'll be participating in, in November. And I've a snag of sorts. You see I burned the index finger on my left hand with my super hot glue gun and let me just say that it's a good thing I'm right handed. I've had quite a bit of irritation since I did it. Tonight will be another Neosporin evening. I'm hoping by tomorrow evening that I'm ready to go with my glue gun again. *Fingers crossed*
I've actually cut quite a bit of paper preparing for the event. The key to making my cards is cutting all the parts ahead of time and lining up an assemble line of sorts. Don't get me wrong it does take a while to fine tune a design. But, once I get going with all of the pieces I can knock out about 5 sets of cards. Yep, I sure can. This weekend I'll be home and working on my cards. Oh, and I've got 2 new scarves in the works to.
This weekend I plan on working my tail off in my studio (aka the kitchen counter) and completing 15 sets of cards. Yes, that is my goal. I'd like to say 20 sets of cards but, I think that is unrealistic. Wait, maybe it's not because I do have 3-days off. Hmmm, I'll have to see. And then of course photographing all of them and then listing them on Etsy, it's ahhh...how do you say time consuming. I'm going to take a bit of time out for the pool and of course a movie on Sunday morning. Oh, and need I forget the yard sale I'm participating in early Saturday morning. Yuck! However, if I make $100 it will definitely be worth it.
Anyhow, I don't have much else planned other than laundry, cleaning, and of course pizza night (Friday evening). That's the essence of my weekend. What's everyone else's plans? Any exciting plans or taking it easy like me (well, sort of)?
Have a wonderful evening and I'll see you tomorrow. I'm headed back to Annette Benning and Michael Douglas...I think they make a great couple in this movie.
