We’ve had a good few days of sunshine here recently and it has got me thinking about the sweet treat that I look forward to most in the summer – ice cream.
If you don’t already know, I used to own a retro ice cream van and spent years scooping exciting flavours of ice cream and making tasty sundaes. I’m sad to say that it was too much of a good thing and my excessive ice-cream consumption has put me off all frozen treats for years! But, I think I’ve finally recovered (I’ve just bought some strawberry splits to put in the freezer) and I’m looking forward to scoffing some ice cream next time the sun comes out.
But even though I’m not keen on the ice cream itself, I am definitely keen on ice cream shades for the summer season, and am advocating wearing them on your feet. I’ve bought myself some vanilla ‘n’ strawberry pumps from Primark that I wrote about a couple of weeks ago but that’s only the beginning… I’ve taken inspiration from the photo of the ice-cream high-heel below that one of my lovely readers sent to me via Facebook and have chosen some shoes in yummy ice-cream shades that are almost good enough to eat!
