Nokia has released the Z Launcher in a limited pre-beta release. Apparently, the app app doesn’t work on rooted devices and the company has only tested it on Nexus 5 and several new Galaxy S devices. So, don’t blame me if it doesn’t work on your device.

Z Launcher have this ability to adapt and bring up apps on your homescreen depending on your location and time of the day, similar to Aviate launcher. Bringing up apps is also simplified to drawing the first letter of the app instead of an app drawer. Although, that doesn’t seem to work well either. Actually, I think swiping to find your favorite apps on homescreen is much faster than this.
It’s something new, I’ll give you that, but it’s not really great. Try it out yourself, you can download the app trough here.
