Bouncy Bristol, UK-based Trust Fund, the brainchild of singer/songwriter/guitarist Ellis Jones, brings the best alt-rock awesomeness that we could hope for. Following a split 7” release with the newly-minted Welsh Music Prize winners, Joanna Gruesome, Trust Fund has just dropped their single “Cut Me Out” that has loads of fuzzy guitars, high-pitched vocal harmonies and a thumping bassline. A powerful lyricist as well, Jones’ honesty on his tracks is refreshing. The band is set to release their debut, No One’s Coming for Us, on February 2015 as their debut on Turnstile Records, home to Perfume Genius and Los Campesinos! (so not bad company). Make sure to check out “Reading the Wrappers” and “No Surprise” too. Plus, if you love dogs as much as any good human should, then you’ll really love their new video.
