On June 16, 2015, when Donald Trump announced he’s a candidate for the Republican Party’s nomination in the 2016 presidential election, he said this about the illegals whom the Obama administration is allowing to pour across our border:
“They’re sending people that have lots of problems and they’re bringing those problems. They’re bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime. They’re rapists and some, I assume, are good people, but I speak to border guards and they’re telling us what we’re getting.”
For correctly saying that there are drug-traffickers and rapists among illegal “immigrants,” Trump is reviled and condemned. Univision and NBC Universal have cut ties with Trump, refusing to air the “Miss Universe” pageant he partially owns; Macy’s has discontinued his clothing line.
If you thought the media pile-on attacking Trump for his comment about “illegal aliens” (a term that is now banned by California governor Jerry Brown) is extreme, you ain’t seen nothin’ yet.
Last night (Sept. 23), in an episode titled “Where My Country Gone” (in reference to Trump’s election slogan “Make America Great Again”), Comedy Central’s adult cartoon show South Park depicted Trump as being raped and murdered:
The same evening, on Fox News’ The [Meghn] Kelly File, National Review editor Rich Lowry made a crude and vile remark about Trump, saying that in the last GOP presidential wannabes debate, Carly Fiorina expertly “cut off his [Trump’s] balls”:
“…what’s going on here is that last debate. Let’s be honest, Carly cut his balls off with the precision of a surgeon.”
Gateway Pundit points out that this is not the first time, but that Lowry “attacks Trump frequently on FOX News.” Trump is demanding an apology from Fox News:
Given how much The Left-Right Establishment fears him, Trump has my support for that reason alone.
Is it any wonder why good people don’t go into politics?
