The top and left pictures are from The New York Times, and the right picture is from Facebook. They provide a rather embarrassing portrait of Donald Trump's failed visit to Paris.
It started as Trump arrived in Paris, and called French President Macron's call for Europe to develop it's own army to rely less on the United States to defend them. Trump called Macron's idea "insulting" -- even though it's exactly what he called for in his last visit to Europe (Europe to contribute more to their own defense).
Then Trump decided to skip a visit to a cemetery to honor Americans who died in World War I -- evidently because it was raining (and the rain would harm his atrocious combover). Other countries' leaders didn't mind a little rain to honor their fallen soldiers.
It didn't stop there. As other leaders marched down the Champs-Elysees in the rain, Trump took a motorcade and met them at the Arc de Triomphe (again, evidently, to protect his combover). And once there, his mood was somber until Putin showed up. Seeing Putin brought a huge smile to Trump's face. It was again obvious that he preferred the company of one of the U.S.'s biggest enemies to that of our best allies.
Finally, Trump flew home rather than attend Macron's 3-day Paris Peace Forum -- making it clear that he's not interested in furthering world peace. Trump is only interested in things that make him richer and increase his own power.
