With
Halloween just around the corner, thoughts of Vampires are popping up everywhere. Not that vampires were far from our minds (or a certain Tall, Blonde, Viking one in particular), the rest of the world is just catching up to us. Like on NBC…. who have added a set of “fangs” to their line up with Dracula (10 PM eastern on Fridays). They are now trying to unite all fans of the fang with a primetime special “Why We (Heart) Vampires”. According to
DreadCentral, the show will be “ a collection of fun, comedic interviews accompanied by entertaining clips from our favorite vampire moments.” Including some from
True Blood. As of right now, it looks like True Blood will be represented by Kristin Bauer Van Straten and Carrie Preston. One wonders what clips we will see with Eric during the special.
The special should air this coming Friday (Nov 1st) at 8 PM eastern.
In other True Blood news, it looks like we will be having more of Lettie Mae in season 7 as actress Adina Porter has been upgraded to regular. I love her on HBO’s “The Newsroom” so I am very happy for her. The other side of me is going “this is taking even more time from when we could have Eric on our screens”.
