San Diego Comic Con 2013 is now well under way and today is True Blood Day. As I write this post many, many trubies are already queuing for the panel event later today (including our very own wonderful “B” who has just messaged me to confirm she’s been in line since 3am ) With Alexander Skarsgard happily hiking the hills of Iceland on a well deserved holiday, it’s time for some more of our favorites to take center stage.
Yesterday Kristin Bauer Van Straten and Joe Manganiello both made appearances and got straight into the Comic Con mood. Kristin also appeared on the TV Guide Fan Favorites Panel, whilst Michael McMillian worked the floor and signed copies of the True Blood comics and his new book “Steve Newlin’s Field Guide To Vampires (and other creatures of Satan)” .

“TB FS” attended the Fan Favorite Panel, which also included Henry Ian Cusick (The 100), Giancarlo Esposito (Revolution), Clark Gregg (Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.), Danai Gurira (The Walking Dead), Tyler Hoechlin (Teen Wolf), Joseph Morgan (The Originals), Julie Plec (executive producer of The Vampire Diaries, The Originals and The Tomorrow People), Emily Bett Rickards (Arrow), and Blair Underwood (Ironside).

Panelists include Kristin Bauer van Straten (Pam Swynford de Beaufort), Anna Camp (Sarah Newlin), Nelsan Ellis (Lafayette Reynolds), Rob Kazinsky (Ben Flynn), Ryan Kwanten (Jason Stackhouse), Joe Manganiello (Alcide Herveaux), Michael McMillian (Steve Newlin), Anna Paquin (Sookie Stackhouse), Sam Trammell (Sam Merlotte), Rutina Wesley (Tara Thornton) and Deborah Ann Woll (Jessica Hamby). The discussion will be moderated by Kate Hahn of TV Guide.
