Well this morning I am off – off for one week !!! Destination :: You guess, (leave comments). I wish I felt calm, relaxed, organised etc etc. But I don’t. I really don’t. Our taxi is picking us up at 3.45 am ” sharp ” and we board our plane at 5.45 am. So far the past two days I feel as though I have been flapping around and although organising emails, photos and ( hopefully ) a couple of posts coming, I feel as though I have achieved nada. Dreams may point in that direction but at the minute I feel like a deserted islander. I am off for one week (work restrictions and all) and the parents are off for a total of 3, arriving back just after a week before Christmas. For some reason this trip feels very different to other trips and I hope this is all down to excitement. However the thought of a long haul flight has rather left me feeling like this … Helmut had the right idea of 21st century travel; total nuisance. Much prefer Vogue’s idealism. And … finally, here’s a little clue for you all. One week, 7 days, oh boy ...
