Traveling to…Saratoga Springs

This past weekend was one of the most beautiful, love filled and lucky ones I’ve spent. It was my best friend’s wedding, not only was I honored to be taking part of this special moment in her life, as a bridesmaid, I was left mesmerized by her breathtaking beauty. Stunning and gorgeous weren’t the words to describe her, it made me cry, but my favorite moment was seeing her beloved’s face as she walked towards him and when they officially becoming man and wife. Tears shed more than once, at the absolute sincere love that was shared that day. It was a picturesque ceremony overlooking Lake George, that led to a night that will always be remembered at the Casino Canfield in Saratoga Springs. Lake George and Saratoga Springs are always one of my favorite places to travel to, and it was nice to actually see it in a different light and show “the boy/my other best friend”, all the things I loved about it. We ended the weekend with a quiet walk through Congress Park; watching the ducks, a yoga class in the morning sun, and this city’s beautiful historical detail before enjoying a brunch of light crisp strawberry rhubarb waffles from Max London’s, and making the beautiful, yet sad, drive back home.
