Well it’s been a whirlwind of a month, but I’m back!! Work pretty much consumed my life and mind, as what happens with most event coordinators, it just becomes too hard to separate work from your personal life. But in the end it’s work that extra push, I was very happy at how well my first event with Big Brothers Big Sisters went! Now onto the next one, but before that a weekend getaway to celebrate the roommates’ big 25th birthday. The destination…San Diego. I couldn’t be more happy and excited to be going back to the one place that felt like home to me. The gloomy cloud-filled sky and snow we’re vacation mood busters, but that all changed once the sunny skies of San Diego reflected off my grandfather’s sunglasses. {it’s like he’s always with me, seeing the world…can you tell I miss Portugal..} The same feeling came over once more…I was home. It just felt right to be over looking the marina, watching the sunrise and sunset everyday, smelling the salt from the clear blue ocean, and meeting interesting new people.
You know a restaurant is “that” good when you’re visiting a city for two days and you manage to eat at Blue Water Seafood Market and Grill twice!!! Yes, just about everything on their menu is not only the freshest quality seafood you can have, their flavors are just out of this world delicious! Just ask Guy Fieri how the oysters, Seafood Cioppino, Shrimp Crab Smoked Fish Sandwich, and Lobster Bisque were…I’d say he would think they were…let’s just say he’d keep eating How everyday should end…with a beautiful sunset
