So I’m sorry for the sparse posts this week, I just returned from a weeklong vacation to the Dominican Republic, where me and the boyfriend stayed at the Playa Bavaro in Punta Cana. It was a bit strange traveling during the winter to a tropical vacation, but even weirder to adjust back to reality, especially to realize I lost a week of Christmas! Unlike all my other vacations, I didn’t do much on this one, and that was exactly what both of us wanted, to do nothing but relax. Although, the weather was a bit unpredictable the first few days, we still enjoyed the sun, meeting new friends, and simply enjoying each other’s company, something we rarely get to do. Here are just a few snippets of our hotel and the beautlful beach, to take your mind off the cold. 
An eco-friendly Christmas tree made from plastic bottles. Although, it was nice to see a bit of the holidays, it’s nice to be back home and immersed in everything that is the Christmas spirit.
