Travel Edition: What’s in My Makeup Bag

By Sparklingker @sparklingker

travel edition whats in my makeup bag Hello! A little late but here’s a what’s in my makeup bag post showing you the makeup I brought with me to the US. When I was packing, I was deciding if I should bring very little and use some of the products I’ll be purchasing there. I was going through this dilemma for a while but I decided that I should wait until I get home so that I can take photos of them first. I ended up packing more than what I need. But hey.. it’s better to be prepared. So here’s what I’ve brought:
travel edition whats in my makeup bag

  1. BECCA ONE perfecting brush* & Other Makeup brushes - I was recently sent the BECCA ONE perfecting brush for trial. This brush is supposed to replace the foundation brush, powder brush, contour brush, blush brush and many more. I brought it with me to try this baby out. I also brought along my other brushes just in case I couldn’t figure out how to use the one perfecting brush.
  2. DUO Eyelash glue
  3. La Roche-Posay BB cream* - BB cream is good for casual days. I’ll be posting a review on the blog in 2 weeks time.
  4. Shu Uemura Eyelash curler - This eyelash curler is amazing for Asians. It is the first curler to curl all my eyelashes!!
  5. Clarins Instant Concealer* – This little bottle of goodness is awesome. Even though it says it’s for eyes, I use it around the face and does pretty good job at covering my red patchy skin.
  6. Ardell Edgy Eyelashes* - Ever since the hubs and I got married, we never went back to the US so we are taking this opportunity to have a smallish dinner in the US to celebrate our marriage. I’m hoping to dress up a little and use these eyelashes on the night.
  7. NARS Sheer Glow Foundation - This is becoming one of my favorite foundations. Coverage is pretty good and it lasts all day.
  8. Burt’s Bees Lipbalm
  9. Dior Eyebrow Pencil
  10. Make Up For Ever Eye Shadow Pencil – This eyeshadow pencil is great and stays on all day. The only thing I don’t like is sometimes it tugs onto my eyes lids.
  11. Maybelline Master Precise Liner – I got this at the Priceline 50% off sale and this is now my go to eyeliner. It stays on all day, doesn’t feather and no smudging!
  12. NARS blush
  13. Maybelline Color Tattoo
  14. Urban Decay Eye Shadow Primer
  15. Make Up For Ever Setting Powder – I always set my BB cream and foundation in powder otherwise my face starts getting quite oily.
  16. Urban Decay Naked palette – I’ve had my Naked 1 for over a year and have been using it at least once a week. It’s the most versatile palette in my collection.
  17. Lip stick (not in the photo) – I completely forgot about bringing a lip product. I put something into my bag last-minute.
