Toy Tuesday: Skip Hop Toys

Before my youngest daughter was born I was searching for an activity playmat that was both fun for babies and non-toxic. Eventually I found the Skip Hop Treetop Friends Activity Gym at http://www.skiphop.com. I was happy to learn this gym, according to Skip Hop, was BPA, PVC, Lead, and Phthalate Free, unlike many of its competitors on the market. Not only is it non-toxic but it also features 17 developmental activities, 5 multi-sensory hanging toys, and cute nature inspired graphics. The cost is fairly comparable to other play gyms on the market at $75 and it is worth every penny. My daughter loves this mat so much she will fall asleep on it after a long play. The brand makes many other fun, developmental, non toxic, and affordable products for baby as well. I have purchased the Night & Day Discovery Toy ($14) and the Hug & Hide Lamb ($18)- again both more than loved by my 3 month old and great for teething.
