Touring The National Mall in Washington DC
Back in the Spring of twenty-sixteen, my friends Amy, Raquel, and myself traveled to DC together. I had moved back to Utah from DC about nine months prior to this trip and was so anxious to visit! We stayed with my sister and her family, and I got to show my friends around this amazing and historic city. The day was rainy and cold, but we had so much fun and walked the Mall, despite the weather.
Our first day was spent hunting down the last of the cherry blossoms (which had blossomed early that year), and checking out the memorials in the National Mall. We started with the Jefferson Memorial, then made our way around to the Washington Monument, the WWII Memorial, the Lincoln Memorial, the Vietnam Memorial, the Korean War Memorial, the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial, and Arlington National Cemetery.
