Topshop Blush in 'Head Over Heels'

By K @stylesocoy
I'm a blusher girl.
To me putting blusher on is an important part of my daily make-up routine, it's not an option for me to skip this stage, I feel completely naked without it.
I do like bronzer's, but because I'm quite pale I have to be very careful that I use a light hand with a bronzer, if not I end up looking like a crazy woman who had a fight in the mud and lost!
I've always used powder blushers in the past, with the exception of Benefit's 'Tint's', but because I'm so in love with Topshop's make-up range at the moment, I thought I'd give one of the cream blushes a try.
I picked up the shade 'Head over heels, a lovely coral color.
The first thing that I want to mention about Topshop's make-up range is that I really really like the packaging. The compact that this blush is presented in, in my opinion, is really cool. I love the fact that there's a mirror, so if you want to pop this in your bag to re-touch-up during the day, you can without having to first find somewhere to do it. The compact is also really sturdy and could probably stand being just chucked in the bottom of your bag!!
When I've used this blush I've been applying it with my Real Techniques Contour brush and I only need a little bit of the product to get a good color pay off. I like the consistency of the blush and love the fact that it doesn't sink in to, highlight or exaggerate my pores.
The only downside to this product, and I assume this is common with cream blushes, is that the product gets quite messy and looks quite dirty very quickly. Now this has not effected the way the product works and is purely aesthetic, but if any hairs shed from the brush I'm using to apply the product, they get stuck in the blush. I suppose it's fine if it doesn't effect the product but I'm just weary of how this will end up with continuous use.
I will, without a doubt be purchasing other shades from the range, and I can't wait to try more products too!!

Are there any products from the Topshop make-up range that you recommend?
