Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish where you post the 'top ten' for each week.
This week, the top ten is: top ten books I've read in 2012! For my school newspaper I just did a post about my favorite books of 2012, so this should be fairly easy to complete!
1. The Fault In Our Stars by John Green
This book is probably one of my favorites of all times. It's so heart-wrenching and wonderful. I even read it two times within the year! I've passed this book along to so many of my friends, and now I'm happy to have my own signed copy!
2. Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi
This was considered one of my favorite books of 2012 for a while! I Can't wait to read the sequel, because this was SO good!
3. Legend by Marie Lu
One of the most bad-ass books I've read in a while. I need to get my hands on Prodigy the instant it comes out.
4. Of Poseidon by Anna Banks
Ahhh, Galen. This book was my first mermaid novel, and it made me really appreciate the genre even more!
5. Shadow & Bone by Leigh BardugoI got to meet Leigh in Chicago, but I read her book before meeting her and I fell in love. I had my friend's parents read the novel just because of its greatness!
6. Sweet Evil by Wendy Higgins
Sweet Evil is AMAZING. The concept is so unique and intriguing and I can't wait for Sweet Peril! I was able to do an interview with her after I read the novel and she is really nice!
7. The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer by Michelle Hodkin
So I'm kind of behind with this one, and I read it just a few weeks ago. I LOVE THIS SERIES SO MUCH. The first book was FLAWLESS, and the sequel was just as amazing!
8. The Selection by Kiera Cass
Kiera Cass is a genius. I really adored this book, mostly because of America and her relationship with the characters in the books. I received a copy of this from a blogging friend and I devoured it right away!
9. Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins
This is my second favorite contemporary novel of the year! So cute and it was easy to relate to! Anna and St. Clair are ADORABLE.
10. Anna Dressed In Blood by Kendare Blake
Probably the scariest book I've read in all of my reading life. It's CRAZY! Crazy good, that is!
