Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Recommend the Most

By Theliteraturelion @LiteratureLion
Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Recommend the MostTop Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish where you post the 'top ten' for each week.
This week, the top ten is: ten books I recommend the most. And trust me, I recommend a lot of books so this is going to be difficult, and easy.
  1. The Fault In Our Stars by John Green. This book I recommend to anyone and everyone. I have a copy of it, and it's probably gone to 10 friends and their mothers. And that's not an exaggeration - many of their mothers read the book too!
  2. The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. This is a "no duh" one.
  3. The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chbosky. I got a copy of this a few weeks ago and it's gone around to a couple of my friends. Many people have watched the movie and have asked to read the book, so it has a short waiting list.
  4. Just One Day by Gayle Forman. Since this one is newer, I don't have a copy because I got it from the library, but I recommended it to a few of my reader friends.
  5. Along for the Ride by Sarah Dessen.  I usually recommend this to friends who want to start reading, and like contemporary fiction. Many of them love it!
  6. Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins. Usually after recommending most of Sarah Dessen books, I recommend Anna & Lola to my friends.
  7. Looking for Alaska by John Green. This one is a little deeper, so usually I do this one after The Fault In Our Stars. Some people can't get into it though, but others liked it!
  8. City of Bones by Cassandra Clare. Because of the strong romance, I have some of my friends who just read contemporary read this one. I just want them to break out of their comfort zone!
  9. Divergent by Veronica Roth. This is usually the first dystopian, besides THG, that I recommend to my friends.
  10. Bloodlines by Richelle Mead. So I just love this series, but I only really recommend it to one person: my best friend. She's the only person that's read The Vampire Academy and I've been bugging her about reading Bloodlines! Thankfully, she picked this one up from the library yesterday!
