By Khadija Beauty @khadijabeauty3

While it’s not always possible to have clear skin all the time, it can be helped when a person changes their everyday habits and lifestyle. Some are blessed with good genetics, while others may not be graced with the same good luck.

A few tweaks and changes can make a big difference to the skin, so with that in mind, here are some tips for clearer skin if you’re currently facing problems.

Cut out bad habits

Be sure to cut out bad habits that commonly cause dull and dry-looking skin. For example, smoking is a bad habit that you might want to quit in order to improve the appearance of the skin. Smoking can dry out the skin and over time, it can really hinder the appearance of the skin and how it ages.

It’s shown that with smoking, the skin can age beyond the person’s years, making them appear older than they actually are! Cutting out smoking by the use of alternative methods may be helpful. For example, vaping IVG and other vape brands can help to transition into non-smoking.

Incorporate an effective skincare routine

To help improve the appearance of the skin, a skincare routine is an absolute must. It’s something that can really help with clearing up the skin and tackling skin issues that might be solvable through certain products.

Retinoids have been proven to be a useful skincare product in order to improve the appearance of the skin by working deep underneath to bring out the very best.

Avoid touching the face too much

When helping manage the oils on the skin, avoid touching the face too much. Even those with clean hands can transfer their natural oil onto the face and that can cause unnecessary breakouts

Try to avoid touching the face, especially with dirty hands as this will only lead to an increase in pimple production. Be sure not to pop those pimples either!

Always wear a sunscreen

When it comes to protecting the skin, be sure to always wear a sunscreen. This will help protect the skin from getting sun damage, which can age the skin dramatically as smoking does. Not only that but without wearing sunscreen, it can put a person at risk of getting skin cancer if they’re not careful.

Regardless of whether the sun is in or out, make sure to wear a sunscreen at all times. That will help protect the skin from harm and can be a great moisturiser too.

Drink plenty of water

In order to help hydrate the skin and give the skin its glowy appearance, drinking water is key. Try to drink as much water as possible throughout the day in order to keep the skin plump and hydrated. It is certainly noticeable when the skin hasn’t had enough water in comparison to a day when the skin has had plenty enough to drink!

Clearer skin is achievable for those that are after it. It does take a bit of time and practice by introducing the right product and creating the right environment for your skin to thrive.
