I Have  been on the hunt for some fun and unique things to do on Valentines day in London this year and I wanted to share with you some of the ones I think look the best… so here it goes.

After hours Dessert pop-up in Bloomsbury

This is one for all of you that would much rather have a pudding than a starter, in fact they completely skip the starter and main course all together and only serve dessert! Sounds good right? If you just answered yes then Store St Espresso in Bloomsbury might just be the perfect place for you and your date on Valentines day.

“Food will be served from 8pm-11pm. Dessert, coffee & petit fours will cost £10, and a tasting menu of 3 desserts, coffee & petit fours £20. No reservations, except Valentines Day, for which there is a special 3-course dessert tasting menu, plus a glass of sparkling wine, coffee & petit fours for £25, with tickets available here.”

If you’re a budding film director or you and your love just love the lime light then this one might be perfect for you! You can direct your own Valentine’s Day movie with LIGHTS! CAMERA! IMPROVISE! at the Arcola Theatre on 14 February.

Whisper sweet nothings

If your looking for something romantic to do during the day but don’t want to spend a bomb then why not take a trip to St Paul’s Cathedral and climb up the dome to the Whispering Gallery to try out its unique acoustics. A whisper on one side can be heard clearly 100 feet away on the other side so secretly wiser to your love… Cute way to propose!

Burlesque it up!

This one isn’t on the 14th but is on the valentines day weekend but I couldn’t leave it out as it sounds like so much fun. Play it on the G-string (amazing name) is brought to you by Annette Bette and MIllicent Binks, and The Lucky Pig cocktail  bar. This event is a Burlesque, Music and Variety Supper Club, that are presenting a valentines day special… …and they are even having a competition for the person who comes in the best hat!

“All the Love birds and lonely blue birds looking for love are welcome at this Valentines Spectacular. Darlings, put on your best hats and be dazzled over dinner at Fitzrovia’s bohemian cocktail bar, The Lucky Pig. Entertainment includes the cream of burlesque By Bette and Binks, acoustic songstresses, crooners and even some rather saucy Ballerinas! The Power of Love at The Breakfast Club, Spitalfields.

Here’s one for all of the lovely single people out there, so grab all your single friends and head down to the Breakfast Club in Spitalfields and join in this crazy event organised bThe Royal Society for the Pursuit of Love Birds and don’t worry if you’re in a couple but still want to hang out with your mates there are still things for you to do too.
