So its 2017, and like every year, let us try something new, something which we havent tried before. Or even if we have tried it before, let us try it with a lot more confidence this time. We all know how much of a difference a good lipstick cn make to our overall look, and if the lipstick is a vampy, rich shade like purple, it is sure to make heads turn. But choosing a good purple lipstick can be a daunting task, so here I am listing our top 5 purple lipsticks which are not just top notch in quality but are also pretty universally flattering.
1. Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Seude Lipstick In Wardrobe
I love Revlon Ultimate Seude Lispticks. I find them pretty comfortable and long lasting and the first thing I look for in my dark lispticks is good staying power. Hence, this particular lipstick tops my list of top 5 purple lipsticks. It is a nice berry toned purple which can even be worn by college students without feeling tacky or too made up. This is perhaps my favorite from the list.
2. Oriflame The One Matte Lipstick in Molten Mauve
This one is more of a deep mauve, more likely to be seen as a Classic Garnet shade. Although the shade is pretty universal, but it will be all the more flattering for dusky beauties. The texture of this lipstick is super creamy and it stays on pretty well.
3. Popfeel Matte Lip Cream in LA06
I am a typical matte lip cream person, and this shade LA06 right here is perhaps every purple lip lovers dream come true. It is one of those rare cool toned purples which are not in your face bright, but still brighten up your face. And the bonus, it does not even dry your lips out like crazy.
4. Incolor Matte Me Ultra Matte Lip Colour in 405
Again, one of my true favourites, this liquid lipstick from Incolor is just the perfect neutral mauve-purple shade which is neither too bright nor too warm a color. This one is one of the most affordable lipsticks from the range and is undoubtedly my favorite after the revlon lipstick. It does not bleed, stays put even after eating and is a perfect purple for Indian beauties.
5. L'Oreal Paris Moist Mat By Color Riche Limited Edition Lipstick in Arabian Night
So not everyone is a bright purple lipstick lover, and many a times even I prefer a deep wine lipstick with strong brownish undertones for that sultry lip for a night makeup look. And Arabian nights from loreal moist mat range is the perfect deep purple wine which is the deepest of the deep purples in the range. Love it for that special occasion.
