Tony Valentino, the guitarist for LA based garage rock band The Standells, has released Sometimes Good Guys Don't Wear White, a pat of the new version of that band's classic Dirty Water album. Considered as a progenitor of punk, it became a working class fan favorite back then and although the energy is a bit more subdued on this revisit, he nailed the guitar part as if he has drunk from the fountain of youth. Duane Waider is on point with his snarling lead vocals and tight drums, with Gary Kaluza once again laying the groundwork on bass.
