Tokyo Police Club’s Expansive New Single ‘argentina (parts i, Ii, Iii)’ [video]

Tokyo Police Club always seem to be brimming with a sort of penchant for the epic. Their earlier releases, Champ and Elephant Shell, had them primed for stardom, but they seemed to have lost steam after the 2010 effort, taking their sweet time to record the follow up expected out next year. However, it seems like the time off did them well, as they just dropped this atomic bomb of a single on us, taking the explosiveness on songs like “Your English is Good” and the maturity and complexity shown on “Tesselate” and upping it tenfold. Lost in the shuffle seem to be the beloved shout-a-long choruses, but if this is what TPC has in store, then I’m more than happy to go along with them. Watch the video to the expansive single above.
