My heart aches.
We live in a broken world, full of broken people.
Sometimes it takes a tragedy to remember there is no faith in humanity; there is only faith in God. And today, I cling to that. I cling to it so hard it hurts.
Lord, hear our prayers as we grieve today. Send peace, send love, send comfort.
Today I’m hugging Everett tighter, and giving thanks that this broken world we live in is not the end of the story.
