Crunchy bite into a soft centered oaty, nutty chocolately goodness. These Toblerone cookies are amazing and yet moorish! Once you have one you can’t seem to stop.
Toblerones are the legendary triangular Swiss chocolate with honey and almond nougat. The triangular shape of the Matterhorn in the Swiss Alps is commonly believed to have given the inspiration for the shape of Toblerone.
With the goodness of oats, muesli and nuts these cookies have a little healthiness well for a cookie!Ingredients
270g Margarine
160g Caster Sugar
160g Dark Brown Sugar
2 Eggs
100g crumbled Wafer
100g Plain Flour
150g Oats
150g Muesli
1 Tsp Baking Soda
1/2 Tsp Salt
1/2 Tsp Mixed Spice
100g Milk & White Toblerone
Add the margarine, caster sugar and dark brown sugar to a mixing bowl
Cream together the sugars and margarine until light and fluffy.
Add vanilla and eggs and beat together
Add crumbled wafer, plain flour, oats, muesli, baking soda, salt and mixed spiced.
Add roughly chopped milk and white Toblerone piecesMix in the chocolate to the thick cookie mixture
Scoop or spoon cookie dough evenly spread apart on a cookie sheet
Bake in the oven at 180c for 10-11 minutes
Allow to cool for about a minute, then transfer to a cooling rack and enjoy!
