Dutch underground label Tiny Room Records, specializing in lo-fi, indie, slowcore, and bedroom folk, was founded 10 years ago. Label manager Stefan Breuer has launched a crowdfunding campaign on Voordekunst.nl to cover the costs of releasing a double album, Foundlings Vol. 1 & 2, with 25 unreleased tracks.
Tiny Room Records is celebrating its tenth anniversary with a very special release: Foundlings Vol. 1 & 2. Over the past decade, the label has championed lo-fi, indie, slowcore, and bedroom folk, releasing around 70 records and organizing countless shows. To mark this milestone, founder Stefan Breuer has curated a double album of ‘foundlings’—unreleased tracks from artists in and around the label. Some songs didn’t fit on previous records, others are brand-new, and some have been waiting for years to be heard. With contributions from artists like Bonnie 'Prince' Billy, Karl Blau, Perry Owen Wright, Coaster, Ilsha, Combo Qazam, and many more, Foundlings Vol. 1 & 2 is a carefully crafted collection of rare and remarkable recordings.
Foundlings Vol. 1 & 2 will be housed in a gatefold sleeve. The campaign will cover the costs for the mastering and pressing the album on 180-gram vinyl. Goal: € 4.900. Currently raised: € 2.179. If all goes according to plan, Foundlings Vol. 1 & 2 will be released in June.
