From Hearthstone Brewery in North Vancouver comes their "Tiny Little Tart Golden Sour". The beer pours a golden colour with a big white head. The aroma consists of mild tartness, citrus, passion fruit and some mild sweetness. The flavour is of tartness, lychee, citrus, passion fruit but not much in the way of malts. The alcohol content comes in at 4%. This is a nice easy drinking sour and probably a great gateway sour for people.
Commercial Description: Kettle soured, then fermented with our house ale yeast. Next we dry hop the hell out of this beer with Equanot and Idaho 7 hops, both accentuating the beautiful bouquet of passion fruit and citrus.
