Bradley, a miniature Daschund, weighed only 4 lbs.

Diminutive though he was in size, Bradley had the heart of a lion and the stature of a giant.

Samantha Edwards reports for Cottage Life that one Saturday afternoon, John Force and a friend went for a ride on a golf cart in the woods behind his Michigan house, taking his pup Bradley with them.

While in the backwoods, the trio came across a 400-pound black bear and her cubs. The two men had never seen a bear before and knew they were in grave danger as the protective mother glowered at them.

But before the men could react, Bradley leapt from the golf cart towards the bear. He attacked the massive animal who outweighed him by a hundred times. A scuffle followed. Although the bear was scared by the attack, she managed to bite Bradley during the brawl.

The tiny dog then ran back to the golf cart and the men quickly drove away.

Tragically, Bradley’s wounds were too severe and he died an hour later.

“I think he went out the way he would have wanted to go out,” Force says. “He was a little fighter, a little scrapper, and he didn’t think twice about attacking the bear, I guarantee you. He would have done it again.”

Tears . . . .
