When Milly was born back in December 2011 she weighed less than an ounce and was reportedly fed with an eye dropper every two hours, said owner Vanesa Semier, according to the Daily Mail. Milly was so tiny that she was able to fit into a teaspoon. After being fed a diet of mostly gourmet dog food, she still remained no larger than a regular Chihuahua.
The World's smallest dog requires special handling
Weighing close to a pound, Milly sleeps in a baby's crib in the North East Puero Rican town of Vega Alta with her owner Vanesa Semler and her husband Edwin Davila whom both have no children and can focus their parenting instincts on Milly.
