There is no denying that TikTok is now the popular platform for learning about new beauty trends. The platform’s algorithm helps users discover trending content quickly, making it a go-to source for the latest in beauty and fashion. Recently, this makeup pot from Korea has been appearing in my TikTok FYP a lot. What made me interested in it are the wide range of shades and cute little keychains where you can decant the product. But is this TikTok-viral product worth the hype? Read my fwee Lip and Cheek Blurry Pudding Pot review below.
WHAT IS IT?
The Fwee Lip and Cheek Blurry Pudding Pot is a versatile cosmetic product designed for use on both lips and cheeks. It aims to provide a soft, blurred finish with a pudding-like texture. The fluffy moisturizing pudding formula combined with blurring powder fills lips comfortably and blurs wrinkles and pores.
NOTABLE INGREDIENTS: Enriched with Theobroma Cacao (Cocoa) Seed Butter and Agave Tequilana Leaf Extract for soft and moisturizing care.
PERFORMANCE
APPLICATION: Apply an appropriate amount of content to your fingertips or a silicon applicator (sold separately). Apply the color to your lips first then tap the remaining amount on your hands and apply it to your cheeks. You can apply the residue gently to areas like under the nose, corners of the eyes, and jawline to create a subtle mood.
SCENT: It smells like a fruitella candy.
PACKAGING: It is packaged in a glass pot with a plastic cap.
TEXTURE & FORMULA: fwee pudding pot has a unique, creamy velvet texture that blends easily onto the skin, providing a natural, seamless finish.
MY EXPERIENCE
The first time I applied this on my lips, the texture reminded me of the Rom&nd Blur Fudge Tint, my favorite matte lipstick from Korea, but more buttery. The fwee Lip and Cheek Blurring Pudding Pot feels smooth and light on the lips. It does make my lips look smoother and the formula is not drying at all despite having a matte finish. However it is not moisturizing either for those with dry lips.
On the cheeks, it also feels light and blends seamlessly with a blurring effect. It has a natural finish but with buildable pigment that allows for a subtle or more intense look. This made me understand why it was such a hit in Korea.
A lot of people claim that this is long-lasting, but I disagree. If you have normal to dry skin and have 24/7 air conditioning in the Philippines or live in countries with colder temperatures, then yes, it will last long. If you have oily skin and/or commute in a tropical country, then this will not last all day. You will need to retouch.
I got the shade CR04 Seventeen which is warm and healthy reddish coral.
Another this I noticed is you will need an applicator to properly apply this because the pot is a bit small for a finger (and I have tiny fingers already). A lip brush will do but for their buttery velvet-like formula, the silicone applicator is better in my experience. There’s a fwee fingerlike brush available for $10. But I found a dupe for PHP79 dupe in Shopee and $5 in Amazon that works the same.
My main reason for buying this product is the keychain. You can get them for a limited time online or when you buy them from the fwee store in Korea. Since the bag charms are trendy again, this is a marketing genius! But decanting this product was not as easy as I thought. As you can see on my TikTok video below, it was a little bit of a mess.
