Tiger Woods is an American professional golfer born December 30, 1975 in Cypress, California, Tiger Woods who is among the most successful golfers of all time. He has been one of the highest-paid athletes in the world for several years. At age 21, Tiger Woods became the youngest Masters champ and the first golfer since Jerry Pate in 1976 to win in the first major he played. Woods has broken numerous golf records. He has been World Number One for the most consecutive weeks and for the greatest total number of weeks of any golfer. Woods returned in time to tee off at the Masters in April, finishing a solid 5-under par to claim a tie for 17th place. A few weeks later, he announced the end of his relationship with Vonn, noting that their “hectic” schedules kept them from spending time together.
