Velorama is a festival that combines the Colorado Classic, a world-class pro cycling race, with headliner music acts and a full-on, 3-day street party in the RiNo Art District.
Velorama Colorado is coming to Denver August 11-13, and this festival is like nothing else. Starting Friday afternoon, August 11, twelve blocks of RiNo Art District will be transformed into a festival for an incredible weekend of bands, bikes and beyond, lasting through the big race finale on Sunday. Bands lined up for Velorama include Wilco, Death Cab for Cutie, The New Pornographers, Saint Motel, La Santa Cecilia, Tennis, plus local acts.
In addition to music, the RiNo street party will be packed with all kinds of fun, including the Drink RiNo Beer Garden, a bike expo, special events, plenty of local food, and the Denver Flea, the Front Range’s favorite curated showcase of Colorado makers. And of course the best views of the Colorado Classic bike race — the start/finish line and a thrilling criterium (for those–like me–who aren’t familiar with cycling, that means a one-day bicycle race on a circuit road course).
Day tickets—which give you access to the full Velorama Festival in RiNo, that day’s bands and race viewing—are on sale now for $35/day! Ticket pricing is timed — the sooner you buy, the less expensive the ticket. Advance is $35/day and available NOW; and then Last Minute will be $45/day. A discounted 3-Day pass is now available for only $90 and a daily 4-Pack of tickets is $120.
