I have decided to do a blog post each Thursday looking back and indulging in a bit of nostalgia for years gone by and as I am very much a product of the 80's ( I was born in the mid 70's) a lot of what I feature will be from that era. So where better to start than with a look at what we thought was the height of fashion in the 80's!!
Like a lot of people my mom had a catalog and there would be much excitement in the house when the new season one arrived, which would see me marking what I wanted and then begging my poor mom to order it for me!!! My most favorite thing from there was a pastel pink pair of boxing style trainer boots!!
So you can have a chuckle at my expense here is a some of what I thought was cool to wear during this era!!

If there is one thing I have come to realize over the years its that there is nothing new in fashion, if you look at what the the teenagers of today are wearing you can see the influence of eras gone by in their high waisted jeans and crop tops!!
