Three Scrubs to Try

Three scrubs to try
Goodness Every Week Face Scrub - Goodness are a really funny brand, their product descriptions are amusing. On the back of the face scrub it says Use me every week, or just when you see me in the shower and realize it's been a while. With all the goodness of powdered pumice, chia seed, avocado and coconut oils, I'll buff your skin into shape.
Heh. The product insert was funny too, but I have no idea where I put it (probably threw it out). I digress. This is a lovely, gentle scrub. It smells like soap and has smooth particles that don't scratch my face. If you like intense scrubs this won't be for you, but if you like gentle scrubs this is a good one to try.

Alpha-H Gentle Daily Exfoliant - This is my gentlest exfoliant and the easiest one to get wrong. Mix in too much water and it becomes a watery, ineffective mess. Mix in too little and it's doesn't scrub well. Thanks to that I don't use it very often, but when I do I always wonder why I don't use it more. It leaves my skin glowing and feeling silky smooth.

Empassion Natural Facial Scrub - By far my favourite, mainly because of the beautiful scent. For me beauty products are as much about enjoyment as they are about effectiveness. Of course they need to be effective but enjoying using them is equally as important. The scent is a gorgeous blend of lime, bergamot and tangerine that I'd love to use as a perfume (must remember to make it for myself). The scrub particles are made from walnut shell, which you might think would be scratchy but they aren't. Compared to the Goodness scrub Empassion has more scrubby bits in it which gives a more thorough exfoliation. If you only try one of the three scrubs I've mentioned, make it this one.

Note: The Empassion scrub was sent for review.
