I actually feel really bad writing this post because I've read such good reviews on this product. I was only given a sample so this review is based on about seven full face uses.
This creamy, rich, oil-free foundation combines exceptional skin firming and age-fighting ingredients for a younger-looking complexion. Clarins Light Optimising Complex and Oat Sugars, paired with exceptional age-fighting benefits, help minimise imperfections, delivering a smooth, more radiant, even complexion.
I applied this using my fingers and using a basic foundation brush to see which way it applied better or whether it didn't matter. I don't feel it makes a difference but I preferred to use my fingers first, going over with the brush to make sure I had a smooth, blended finish. It says that it suits every skin type including oily skin like mine, but I just couldn't get it to work like other foundations I have used. This is designed for firming skin containing age-fighting benefits so this is the conclusion I came up with as to why this foundation just won't sit perfectly on my face. I have tried a different Clarins foundation in sample form in the past and I would have definitely repurchased that one. I would still highly recommend this firming foundation, however, only if you are specifically looking for those properties.
