We would like to buy some chairs for our living room and there it is the post by Lotta Agatonabout Thonet n. 107 chair. D. likes Thonet quite a lot but I tend to prefer more 1900s lines (Thonet was designed in 1859, you know). Austrian designer Robert Stadler has reinterpreted the classic design borrowing the language of the original: he incorporates a flat backrest and can be produced in a process that’s almost entirely automated, decreasing the final cost. The chair enters officially in our wishlist though I cannot find the price anywhere yet: if anybody can help I'll be thankful forever.
