How long does your laptop battery last on a single charge? 5 hours or maybe 8? Is that all you’ve got, seriously? Toshiba is basically asking you that question by introducing its’ latest “Dynabook KIRA V634″ Ultrabook, which boasts 22-hour battery life on a single charge.Yes, that’s nearly a whole day.

The report came from Engadget, which spotted the product page of this amazing device that is set to go on sale in Japan starting tomorrow with a ¥144,000 JPY ($1,440 USD) price tag. KIRA V634 is no ordinary Ultrabook, it features 13-inch 1,366 x 768 resolution display along with Intel Core i5 CPU clocked at 1.6GHz, 8GB of RAM, 128GB SSD and runs on Windows 8.1.

There’s another model of the device which offers 2560 x 1440 px resolution display with touch input, but it’s only capable of running for 14 hours. Still, it’s great improvement compared to a normal Ultrabooks that dies after about 8-hours of use. Toshiba hasn’t revealed any info on a global launch of the device. Let’s just keep out fingers crossed for the moment.
