Raspberry Pi, the credit-card sized computer opened up doors to many new ventures and inventions from affordable laptops and computers to smartphones. The latest device to join is a Raspberry Pi-powered tablet.
This new Kickstarter project created by Psi Labs aims to launch the “PiTablet”, a tablet that gets powered with a Raspberry Pi computer, a 10 inch PiTouch touchscreen monitor and a USB Power Pack.
For a $149 pledge you can get the full PiTablet kit, which is actually quite expensive than even a $99 Amazon Fire HD. Although, since the PiTablet is based on open-source components, the kit is fully customizable and opens up new possibilities for learning with the device.

The PiTablet has already surpassed its surprisingly small $1k Kickstarter goal, but you still have time to make a pledge.
