"What exactly is 23 Years Old Badecasil P-Original? And how do you use it? " That's the exact questions fellow members of a beauty group on Facebook asked me when we started a thread about this product. If you're one of the many people who are confused if it is an exfoliator or a moisturizer, below is my 23 Years Old Badecasil P-Original review. And hint: it's a great product!
WHAT IS IT?
23 Years Old Badecasil P-Original is a troubled skincare cream that boosts skin vitality with the help of Betaine Salicylate and upgraded BioDTox, both of which exfoliate and moisturize your skin at a time. With a single usage before sleep, you will experience much smoother skin in the next morning. In short, it is an exfoliating and moisturizing face cream.
NOTABLE INGREDIENTS
The Badecasil P-Original contains Glycolic Acidwhich is a popular AHA ingredient for its anti-aging properties. It also contains Betaine Salicylatea BHA and my favorite acne-fighting ingredient. It also contains Centella Asiatica Extract which is a trendy ingredient right now because it soothes the skin and promotes wound healing. It sounds all great but this product is NOT recommendable to those are allergic to Aspirin and pregnant women. You can read its full ingredient analysis in Skin Carisma.
PERFORMANCE
APPLICATION: As the last part of your nighttime skincare routine, take an appropriate amount and apply evenly on your face, avoiding the eye area. You can also use this on day time but you will need to apply sunscreen and avoid severe exposure to UV rays since this contains both AHA and BHA that will make your skin vulnerable to the sun.
SCENT: It doesn't have a strong scent. In fact, it has that generic "unscented" cream smell, if you know what I mean.
PACKAGING: It comes in an aluminum tube that you can squeeze easily.
TEXTURE & FORMULA: It's a very light cream that easily glides on the skin and doesn't leave a white cast. It's also non-sticky and you can really feel how fast the skin absorbs it.
MY THOUGHTS
This product is true to its claims! I prefer to use this at night, once or twice a week, depends on my skin condition and activities. And no b*llsshit, it really makes me happy looking at myself in the mirror the moment I wake up. My skin looks smoother and clearer!
I was actually afraid to use this at first, thinking it might cause purging and I really don't want to get through it again. Thank goodness, it didn't caused one, not even redness! Yet still effective in keeping my acne at bay. Finally, an exfoliating product that will not destroy the skin's moisture barrier!
VERDICT
PROS: True to its claims, it will really exfoliate and moisturize your skin. Non-sticky, non-greasy, lightweight, and doesn't leave a white cast.
CONS: Not an easy product to find locally.
