Verdict on This Land
This Land is a documentary which shows six different Americans who address who they would have been voting for during the 2020 election. It addresses problems certain families had, which only one side of the government wanted to help with. This dives into immigration, voting rights and other human rights. All of these could change with the wrong government in charge.
This doesn’t go out of its way to address which side would be best all around, Trump or Biden. It puts the full focus on what has been offered to give the families the best chances in life. This should be more about what elections are, focusing on who could help, not a massive show of parades like most elections are.
This Land is an interesting documentary putting a human side to voting. This is something we don’t see that often and it feels refreshing.
Final Thoughts – This Land is an interesting documentary.
