This is the Single Life I Have Chosen
During a short stint of my Christian single life, I saw myself as a victim. I saw myself as a causality of having to wait to get what I wanted.
I often questioned, why me?
However this is the single life that I chose. The day I said yes and vowed to love Jesus with all of my heart, is the day that my life was no longer my own.
Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. (Matthew 16:24-25 KJV)
Whatever I must endure in this life to please my God and King, so be it. The rewards for surrendering my entire life to Christ have been more than I ever could have gained on my own.
Watch this short video as I remember a very empowering moment during my Christian single life. As you will see this vlog was not planned. But as God brings thoughts of hope to my mind, I pray to share them with you.
