13-year-old Rion Paige has a rare disease that has left her wrist-joints deformed and blind in one eye.
But Paige, unlike so many Americans, does not think of herself as a victim. On the contrary, this young lady refuses to wallow in self-pity or blame others, society, or God.
Self-confident and joyful, Paige blew away the X-Factor audience and judges — including the very demanding Simon Cowell — with her rendition of a Carrie Underwood song, “Blown Away.”
