There is never a right time for anything. The time becomes right when you go for it.
Why do we hold ourselves back so much waiting for the perfect time to do something? The perfect time doesn't exist. There will ALWAYS be a reason why you shouldn't do whatever it is. But I bet that for every one reason that you shouldn't there are 10 reasons why you should.
I've told you guys before that I used to use school as a crutch. "I'll do this after I finish school." "Oh that's something I'll wait until after school to do." "I'll make more time for my friends when I graduate." I've really shifted my mentality and I'm doing what I can when I can. No more putting things on the back burner for someday. No more waiting around for the right time. Because if you keep doing that, chances are you'll be waiting around forever.
I don't know about you, but I don't want to spend my life waiting for the right time. I want to spend my life making the right time.
Now don't get me wrong, some things are totally worth waiting for. For example, Adam and I decided that we are going to wait until I graduate to buy a house. That just makes sense because we don't know where I'll end up working when I finish school. But what doesn't make sense is waiting for things like taking weekend trips, trying new hobbies, or pouring your heart into that passion project.
So I encourage you to stop waiting around for the perfect time. Take steps TODAY toward creating the perfect time. Remember, there is never a right time for anything - the time becomes right when you go for it.
