There is Dihydrogen Monoxide in the Water!!!!

On April fools (Monday) two Florida radio DJs warned everybody of the dihydrogen monoxide in the tap. It caused such a stir that people were calling into the Lee County Utilities with concerns about the tap water. The DJs were temporary suspended (returned Wednesday) and they were threatened with criminal charges by the Florida Health Department.

WTF!!!!

So because people have no clue about science the DJs were punished. Even though the health department decided not to pursue charges this is just plain ridiculous. The DJs stated a truthful statement and people that did not understand it got scared. So that somehow was worthy of considering criminal charges. Since when is telling the truth grounds for criminal actions! The ignorance of others should never be grounds for criminal charges!
